本日7月3日に日本のYahoo!検索 スタッフブログでもインデックスアップデートが発表された。


以下、公式ブログ文章。

Yahoo! inc.が開発しているウェブサーチエンジン「Yahoo! Search Technology (YST)」のインデックスについて、フルアップデートを開始しましたのでお知らせいたします。

インデックスアップデートでは、世界各国に向けた機能改良などを盛り込まれていますが、日本向けについても、日本語処理やコンテンツ解析、その他の改良を行なった成果をインデクサに組み込み、インデックス全体の更新を行っています。

これにより、検索結果が改善されるとともに順位変動が予想されます。

Weather Report: Yahoo! Search Index Update

Yahoo.comの公式ブログから、日本時間5月28日早朝に｢Search Index Update｣がおこなわれたとの発表がされた。（米国時間5月27日）



ただ、先日のブログに書いたように、まだ地域で異なった結果が表示されているので、落ち着くまでしばらくかかりそうだ。

本日5月26日、地域によりYahooの検索結果の違いが確認できた。

これは東京都の中の異なった地域で調べたところ、同じキーワードでも検索結果の違いが現れた。

前回のアップデートが4月23日ことからすると、そろそろなのかも知れない・・・。
